The Presidential Election Petitions Court has dismissed petition challenging Tinubu/Shettima's nomination by APC on the ground that it lacks the powers to hear the petition.

According to the Ruling Court, the petition is a pre-election matters and ought to have been addressed at a high court.

The Tribunal equally ruled that the timeframe of 180 days within which to determine the issue had elapsed.
