Buhari Is Gone But the Pain of His Presidency Still Lives On

Written By : Awuzie Frankline

Now that former President Muhammadu Buhari is deadโ€ฆ what did he really leave behind?

Was all the suffering Nigerians went through worth it, just to be called โ€œPresidentโ€?. You had the chance to be remembered as a hero, someone who came after Goodluck Jonathan and made the country better. But instead, your time in power brought pain, fuel problems, hunger, insecurity, and serious hardship.

And after all that, you still allowed someone like Tinubu who clearly didnโ€™t win the election to become president. You stayed silent while Nigerians cried. Now people are suffering even more under a government you handed power to. So what is the point of being a president if your name brings pain instead of pride?

Your death reminds us of the tough years we lived through. You could have done better. You could have left a legacy people would celebrate. Now, history will speak the truth.

I am Awuzie Frankline, I know all will die , but I rather write RIP to my dog that brought Joy to me than A man that destroyed the future of many Nigerians. I dont pretend

Governor Peter Mbah Visits Governor Alex Otti: Strengthening Regional Unity in the South East

In a powerful gesture of regional solidarity, Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State paid a courtesy visit to Governor Alex Otti of Abia State at his country home. The meeting symbolized a deepening alliance among South East leaders who share a common vision for development, security, and regional integration.

Both governors, renowned for their successful private sector backgrounds before transitioning into public service, engaged in robust discussions centered on strengthening inter-state collaboration within the South East geopolitical zone.

Governor Mbah lauded the developmental strides taking place in Abia under Governor Ottiโ€™s leadership, emphasizing their shared commitment to people-oriented governance and results-driven public service. He noted that the growth of one state inevitably contributes to the overall advancement of the region.

The conversation extended beyond state boundaries as both leaders aligned on pressing national concerns โ€” notably, the urgent establishment of state police to combat localized security threats more effectively. They also reaffirmed their support for the creation of an additional state in the South East, advocating for equity and balanced representation across Nigeriaโ€™s geo-political zones.

This visit marks more than just a courtesy call; it represents the emergence of a strong, united leadership front in the South East, driven by mutual respect, shared ideals, and a vision of a more secure and prosperous region.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, the growing partnership between Governors Mbah and Otti offers a promising blueprint for regional unity, cooperative governance, and transformative leadership in Nigeria.
