It’s always funny when some men start shouting, “A woman shouldn’t have an opinion in marriage.”
Opinion ke? In 2026?
The same woman that wakes up at 5 a.m., goes to work, runs a business, pays school fees, contributes to rent, buys food, supports your dreams, takes care of the children, and still comes home to cook… that’s the one you expect to keep quiet because you have a Y chromosome?
Some of you are confusing marriage with military rule.
Leadership is not intimidation. If the only way you can feel like a man is by silencing your wife, then maybe the problem isn’t her mouth—it’s your insecurity.
The world has moved on. Women are no longer begging to be heard. They are earning, building, investing, leading, and carrying responsibilities right beside their husbands.
If she’s good enough to contribute to the bills, she’s good enough to contribute to the decisions.
Stop demanding obedience when what you’ve earned is a conversation.
If your ego can’t survive a woman having an opinion, don’t get married. Marry a mirror so you can keep agreeing with yourself.
