I remember how mama always bought us new shoes while she kept wearing the old pair.
As a child, I thought it was normal I didn't know she was choosing us over herself.
It wasn't until I grew up that I realized those worn out shoes carried a mother's love, s@crifice and silent prayers.
Here are 4 parenting truth every mother should remember
1. Your children dont need you to s@crifice everything. Giving your children the best is beautiful, but you shouldn't have to completely nɛglect yourself to be a good mother.
2. Children may not understand your s@crifices immediately. They may see the new shoes, the nice meals and the school fees being paid without understanding what you had to givɛ up to provide them.
3. Teach your children gratitude, not entitlement. Let them understand that what they receive comes with effort. Appreciation is an important part of raising responsible children.
4. Mama deserves nice things too. Dont always say, "the children first". Sometimes, buy yourself the shoes. Take yourself out. Rest. Enjoy something beautiful
Because motherhood is not about dis@ppearing so your children can shine.
You can love your children deeply and still remember yourself.
This is why i made a v!deo."The shoes mama never bought" showing on this p@ge ❤️
