At a critical moment of rising fiscal pressures and growing demands for sustainable development, I emphasized that strong tax systems are vital for domestic resource mobilization and public trust - yet policy gaps and illicit financial flows continue to undermine progress.

It is important to focus on two key priorities: modernizing international tax nexus rules and the growing role of in tax administration, with the United Nations serving as a central platform for inclusive global dialogue.

This prestigious continental appointment positions HRH Dr. Toure as the strategic representative of UN-PAF across Africa, with responsibility for advancing the Foundation’s mission, strengthening institutional partnerships, and promoting initiatives that foster peacebuilding, humanitarian engagement, and sustainable development.

IYN-UNSCR 2250 – Yobe State Chapter
This is to formally inform the general public, partners, stakeholders, and youth across Yobe State that the International Youth Network for The UNSC Resolution 2250 Nigeria has officially commenced operations in Yobe State.
I am honoured to announce my appointment as the State Coordinetor, Yobe State Chapter, alongside the constitution of 17 Local Government Coordinators, covering all Local Government Areas of the state.
The IYN-UNSCR 2250 is a youth-led global initiative committed to the promotion of:
Youth participation in peacebuilding and governance
Conflict prevention and resolution
Social cohesion and inclusive development
The full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2250 (Youth, Peace and Security)
As a network, we call on young people, civil society organisations, community leaders, development partners, and relevant stakeholders to collaborate with us in advancing peace, security, and sustainable development across Yobe State.
Together, we believe that youth are not just beneficiaries, but key actors in building lasting peace.
