Estimate analysis to establish 10acres oilpalm plantation as follows:
1. Land acquisition (500,000 Per acre x 10= 5million
2. Land clearing/smooth preparation= #500,000
3. Matured lmpro e seedlings procurements. We have two species of oilpalm seedlings
@ tenera oilpalm seedlings and @ supergene oilpalm seedlings.
Each of hybrid tenera palms cost #500 per one.( It starts producing 3-4years)
Each of Malaysia supergene species cost #1800( start producing from 2 years and 6months.
For tenera oilpalm seedlings
Using standard spacing 9m by 9m triangular methods, each acre contains 70palms.
70 palms per acre( 70x1800)x by 10 acres = #1,260,000
*The 10 acres will require 7bundles of wire collar for protection against animal attack, each bundle cost 22,000
7bundles= #154,000
*Professional mapping, pe***ng and planting of the whole 10 acres= #300,000
* Fertilizer application and workmanship= #220,000
*INCOME ANALYSIS*
A matured plantation start producing " 4tonnes per hectares of red palm oil from the fourth year after planting. 20metric tonnes of oil can be obtained annually from 10acres plantation.
* One ton of red palm oil= 1000litrs
Therefore, 10acres will produce 20,000 litres of oil annually. ( Each gallon is sold within d range of 16-25k)
The oil is being sold per gallon (25litres)
20,000/25litres= 800gallons.
Therefore, cost of 1 gallon of oil, assume 21,000x800gallons= #16,800,000
A gross revenue of 16.8millions is obtained from red palm oil.
We can also get 2.31metric tonnes of palm kernel per hectares annually. This gives us 9.24tonnes from 10acres. This translate to annual income of #5,550,000.
Total income realizable is 16,800,000+5,500,500= #22,300,000
While the annual operating expenses is put at #8,000,000
This leave us with a net income of 14,300,500 annually for you as d investor for the next 60years.
There are still other source of income such as palm front,palm kernel shells.
