Met with a laundry man across my street sometimes ago, he advertise his services to me and I told one of this days I would patronise. So I decided to patronise him as said. And guess what? Poor services, mannerless customers relationship ashion. The notion I have about all this is that they are not always true to there words so I expected the same from this guy and alas he also did same.
You don't expect me to refer any of my friends to such person.
As much more as possible, build and leverage more on trust, treat people well and let them refer your potential customers.
If you treat people disrespectfully or behave badly, then your reputation is on the line as you don't expect customers to patronise you again, nevertheless would you expect them to refer another potential customers to you!
Much more than the funds, money invested into a business is also reputation, in the market place, reputation is known as the capital as without having a good reputation for your business or brand no sales or progress.
Trust is important in building your business. You should be able to build trust in your business to the extent that trust becomes a receipt.
