THE BURDEN THAT BECAME A BLESSING
Adeola was a young woman full of dreams. She was brilliant, beautiful, and prayerful. Many people admired her strength and determination. Yet, behind her bright smile, Adeola carried a burden that nobody could understand a sickness that had followed her since her teenage years.

Sometimes, she would wake up strong and ready for the day, but without warning, the pain would strike her like a cruel visitor. It weakened her body and reminded her that she was not like everyone else. Doctors had tried, herbalists had tried, even pastors had prayed, but the problem never fully left.

She often whispered to herself at night, “Why me? Why must I carry this thorn in the flesh?”

Despite her condition, Adeola refused to give up. She finished school, got a job as a teacher, and inspired her students with her courage. But only those closest to her knew how much she struggled.

Her friends sometimes mocked her secretly. Some said, “She pretends to be strong, but she can never live a normal life.” Others advised her to stop wasting money on treatment.

But Adeola held on. She believed that God had a reason for allowing this pain. She remembered the story of Apostle Paul in the Bible, who also spoke about a thorn in the flesh that humbled him and drew him closer to God.

One day, while teaching in class, the pain struck suddenly. She nearly fainted, and the students rushed to her aid. That night, she cried bitterly and prayed, “Oh Lord, please take this pain away. Haven’t I suffered enough?”

In her quiet spirit, she felt a whisper: “My grace is sufficient for you. My strength is made perfect in your weakness.”

Adeola realized that even though the thorn remained, it had taught her patience, humility, and faith. It made her depend on God more than on herself. It gave her compassion for others who suffered silently.

Years later, Adeola became a mentor to young women. She would tell them, “Life is not always perfect. Everyone has a thorn in the flesh — it could be sickness, poverty, rejection, or disappointment. But your thorn is not your end. Sometimes, God allows it to remind you that His grace is bigger than your pain.”

Her story touched many hearts. People who once mocked her began to admire her courage. And though the thorn never fully left, Adeola found peace because she learned that true strength comes not from the absence of struggles, but from the ability to rise above them.

The Story of Prophet Musa (AS)

---

🌊 Birth of Prophet Musa (AS)

A long time ago, in the land of Egypt, a cruel king named Pharaoh ruled. He was very harsh to the children of Israel (Banu Isra’il). Pharaoh gave an evil command that every baby boy born to the Israelites should be killed.

At that time, a righteous woman gave birth to a baby boy. She was afraid that the soldiers of Pharaoh would harm him. That baby was Musa (AS).

Allah inspired his mother to put him in a basket and place him gently in the river Nile. The basket floated safely to the palace of Pharaoh, where the queen, Asiya, found him. She loved the baby and raised him as her own son.

🕌 Musa (AS) Grows Up

Musa (AS) grew up in the palace with wisdom and strength. Even though he lived with Pharaoh, his heart was always kind and just.

One day, Musa (AS) saw an Egyptian man fighting with an Israelite man. Musa (AS) tried to stop the fight, but he accidentally struck the Egyptian, who died. Out of fear, Musa (AS) left Egypt and traveled to a far land called Madyan.

💍 Musa (AS) in Madyan

In Madyan, Musa (AS) helped two women fetch water for their animals. Their father, a wise old man, invited Musa (AS) to his home and later gave him one of his daughters in marriage. Musa (AS) lived there for many years and worked hard.

🌳 The Burning Bush

One day, while traveling with his family, Musa (AS) saw a glowing fire on Mount Sinai. When he went near, Allah spoke to him from the burning bush. Allah chose Musa (AS) as His prophet and commanded him to go back to Pharaoh to guide him to the truth.

🐍 The Staff of Musa (AS)

Allah gave Prophet Musa (AS) miracles. His staff (stick) could turn into a snake, and his hand could shine brightly with light. These were signs to prove to Pharaoh that Allah is the only true God.

But Pharaoh was stubborn and refused to believe.
🌊 The Miracle of the Red Sea
After many signs, Allah commanded Musa (AS) to take the children of Israel out of Egypt. Pharaoh and his army chased them. When they reached the Red Sea, the sea split into two with the command of Allah, and Musa (AS) led his people safely across.

Pharaoh and his army tried to follow, but the sea closed back and drowned them.

📖 Lessons from Prophet Musa (AS)

Allah always protects those who trust in Him.

Truth will always defeat falsehood.

Patience and faith are keys to success.

Wonderful Women in Islam

🌹 1. Maryam (Mary), Mother of Prophet Isa (AS)

Maryam (AS) was chosen by Allah above all women. She was pure, devoted to worship, and raised Prophet Isa (AS).

The Prophet ﷺ said:

> “The best of its women is Maryam bint Imran, and the best of its women is Khadijah bint Khuwaylid.”

She is an example of courage, patience, and faith.

🌺 Lessons from These Women
Women are leaders in faith, knowledge, and sacrifice.
Their lives teach us patience, courage, modesty, and devotion to Allah.
Islam honors women not by wealth or beauty, but by taqwa (piety).

Allah is sufficient for me.
