On behalf of the Chairman, Executives, and all Members of Danmodi Concern Organization (DCO), we warmly welcome the blessed month of Ramadan.

We pray that Allah (SWT) grants us the opportunity to witness this holy month in good health, strong Iman, and complete peace.

May He give us the strength to observe fasting, increase our عبادات, show kindness to humanity, and support the needy in our communities.
Ramadan is a month of mercy, forgiveness, and freedom from the fire.
Let us use this period to promote unity, patience, charity, and community development.

DCO Concludes Community Health Outreach and Open Defecation Awareness Campaign in Kafin Hausa LGA.

Alhamdulillah, today, 1st January 2026, marks the successful conclusion of a Community Health Outreach and Open Defecation Awareness Campaign conducted in Kafin Hausa Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
The intervention, implemented by Danmodi Concern Organization (DCO), covered four (4) wards Kwazalewa, Kafin Hausa, Zago, and Bulangu where residents benefited from free medical check-ups and free distribution of prescribed medications. The outreach significantly improved access to basic healthcare services for community members, particularly the vulnerable.

In addition to medical services, DCO carried out sanitation sensitization and Open Defecation Eradication (ODE) awareness campaigns, reinforcing Jigawa State’s status as Nigeria’s first Open Defecation Free (ODF) state. The awareness sessions emphasized hygiene, environmental cleanliness, and community responsibility in sustaining ODF achievements.

The programme also featured a townhall engagement involving key stakeholders, women groups, youth representatives, and community leaders. Discussions focused on the importance of community health, citizen participation, and collective responsibility in eradicating and sustaining open defecation-free practices across Jigawa State.

The outreach was sponsored by Ministry For Local Government Jigawa State. Under the Leadership of Hon. Ibrahim Garba Hannun Giwa, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry for Local Government, Jigawa State, whose support contributed significantly to the success of the programme.

Danmodi Concern Organization (DCO) reaffirms its commitment to supporting government initiatives that promote public health, sanitation, and sustainable community development across the state.

GOVERNOR NAMADI APPOINTS ISMAI'L KIRI KASAMMA AS SPECIAL ASSISTANT BASIC EDUCATION MONITORING

Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi has approved the appointment of Isma’il Ibrahim Kiri Kasamma as Special Assistant to the Governor on Basic Education Monitoring for Kiri Kasamma Local Government Area.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

The SSG explained that Isma’il Kiri Kasamma’s appointment is based on his merit, personal integrity, and competence.

While congratulating the appointee, Malam Bala Ibrahim urged him to justify the confidence placed in him and to fulfill the responsibilities of his new role effectively.

The appointment takes immediate effect.
