What would you say if you're asked what you do?

If you answered with "I'm a baker" or "I'm a coach", etc. you might be thinking about your business wrongly.

If you're a business owner, what you actually do is SELL your products and services.

Running a business is not just about producing something you love or doing something you love. It's about actually selling that thing.

If you can't sell it or if it's not selling, you're not in business.

You have to come to terms with this fact and stay aware of it in order to succeed in your business.

Speak about your business in terms of how you help people solve their problems.

Not just about how much experience or expertise you have or how impeccably you render your services.

When speaking about your expertise, present the information in a way that says "this is why you can trust me to be able to help you."

That's what will make your potential customers pay attention to you.

For example, rather than just saying, "buy this book on time management" say "this book will show you how to manage your time better"
