Tears raining down my cheeks,
my hands holding my chin helplessly,
as I watch my country in despair,
the agony we've been through.
we work without emoluments,
And i cried bitterly for my dearest love,.

I can see "THE MONSTER YOU'VE MADE",
priceless jewel drenched in its own blood,
pain wails throughout our streets,
no ghetto knows no life,
and as silent as ever, we mourn for the bereaved,
how cunning they can be.

I kneeled as I hugged my country intrinsically,
with a deeper scar that efface fretfully,
I am but a victim of their infraction,
the conflagration they sparked
now haunts my wool-gathering,
Nigeria shall rise again.

Indeed love still exist,
many out there are optimistic,
believing in the future desperately,
I can feel heaven from a mile,
cos Nigeria will rise again,
The fallen Giant will resuscitate,
NIGERIA shall rise again.

I am an orphan
fatefully thrown to the low class of life,
left to the pungent claws of ambiguity,
despair and dismay hangs around my universe,
a weakling to the society but a fighter at heart,
disappointment lurks around every door I face,
those impending retributions,
arcane siezures trying to abdicate my freedom,
I am a fowler hunting for the unforseen,
pricing my prizes blindfoldedly,
fear seems to conquer my age,
anxiety seems to rule my day,
I feel vulnerable to the rims of life,

I'm an orphan
with the zeal to be who I'm meant to be,
but I live on the other side of the coin,
I am just a kid who needs love,
but I'm broken,
craving for those warm hugs even from a stranger,
tho It will feel stolen,
I strive for the love I can steal,
feeding on the misery everyday brings,
depressed and unappreciated,
I fight my battle on a thousand stairs,
fear of the unknown triggers my soul,
craving to live better and free.

I am an orphan,
a son of a nobody,
toast around by life's mischievous fortune,
plunged into the river of dismay,
I've sworn to live without regret
history shall be made by the despised,
and if all goes wrong I will be standing strong too
