But, somebody somewhere believes a child should be paid to do the dishes. Be paid to clean their room. Be paid to wash their clothes.

Wait, you pay them to do chores? Like, is that not supposed to be a training? You pay your kids to learn responsibility? You pay them to learn survival? You pay them to do exactly what they are supposed to do?

Paying kids to do chores is a no NO for me. I wouldn't do that for any reason.
