She Code Africa's STEM-A-Girl Outreach will be happening live in Kaduna from 13th–15th May, 2025.

The outreach is designed to expose secondary school girls (ages 10–21) to hands-on, practical workshops in STEM, while helping them demystify what tech really is and see what’s possible for their future.

We are currently looking for on-site VOLUNTEERS who reside in Kaduna and can commit to supporting us across the 3-day outreach. The roles we’re looking to fill include:

Venue setup & coordination

Crowd control and registration

Content creation

Video editing

- My Why: Unleashing Creativity and Potential. -

In a world dominated by technology, I've chosen to pursue a career in design, leveraging my passion for information technology. I've discovered a passion for graphic and UI/UX design, and I'm excited to nurture this skill. I'm driven by the challenge of solving complex problems through user-centered design thinking.

In quiet moments, I reflect on my goals and aspirations, focusing on what success means to me. I frequently ask myself:

- What steps can I take to achieve success in my design career?
- What paths have successful designers taken to reach their goals?
- Can I learn from their experiences and apply them to my own journey?
- Do I have the potential to succeed in this field?
- How can I continue to develop my creativity and skills?

Repeatedly, I find myself pondering these questions, with the last one lingering in my mind: "Am I creative enough?" While it's true that design requires creativity, I'm reminded that everyone possesses creativity in their own unique way. This realization motivates me to continue exploring and developing my skills.
