As a business owner what are you doing for your business to be visible?
As a business owner, you don’t assume people know what you’re selling and keep mute, you need to start telling people about your product, as an online vendor, you need to start advertising like never before.
Never think your business is too small or too big for you to start advertising
Even top companies like Dangote, Nestle PLC, Dufil keep advertising their products everyday.
As a small business owner am not saying you should run ads compulsorily, you can use your mouth to tell people about your products or services. And if ads is necessary, my dear run ads.
So whether you are running an online or offline business you need to go out and start telling people about your products.
The day I knew I wasn’t trying my best enough is the day one of my neighbor told me they weren’t aware of what I sell😳😳 I was like, I need to do better.
The following day I put on a nice cloth, carried my okrika bag and wore my okrika shoe to advertise better😅😅 I reached out to those I could reach out to and told them what I sell
Am not saying you should go from one street to another but scream about your product or services.
Do not sit at the corner of your shop or house and be hoping that GOd will sell your products, put effort first then put your trust in God
If you are really intentional about growing your business you must
Invest in your marketing skill
Find a trusted coach and learn from.
Follow online vendors, big companies and see the kind of marketing strategies they use, with that you can create your own strategy or even do better
There are too much noise on social media, learn marketing skill.
No matter what you sell you need to learn how to stand out from the crowd.
Don't start a business because you know someone that is making huge profit from the business.
Know your WHY.
Market your products shamelessly.
Don't compete with anybody.
Compete with yourself to be a better person.
When a lot of people knows your products then you won't have to complain about low patronage.
Don't underestimate the power of asking for referral from your existing customers.
