FINAL RESULT — TMG CONSULTATION POLL
The Presidential Preference Consultation has concluded.
Total votes recorded: 109,799
1. Atiku Abubakar/Rotimi Amaechi — ADC: 80,809 votes (73.6%)
2. Peter Obi/Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso — NDC: 24,519 votes (22.3%)
3. Others: 4,471 votes (4.1%)
Atiku Abubakar/Rotimi Amaechi is obviously people’s preferred ticket, but, like we said, every vote matters. We still need unity and alliance as voters.
One of the most remarkable features of the exercise was the stability of the result throughout the voting period.
Approximately seven minutes after voting commenced, the figures stood at about 76.6% for Atiku/Amaechi, 20.9% for Obi/Kwankwaso and 2.4% for Others. As participation expanded dramatically, the percentages settled and remained remarkably consistent:
