*PLEASE, CALM DOWN!*
Did you remember Oreofeoluwa Lawal? The four year old boy that trended in 2020 for telling his Mum to be “calming down”. He became instant internet sensation, met the Governor of Lagos State and was given a role to play in a Movie. Like many people we were all carried away with the dramatic expression of “Mummy Calm down” and we totally lost the message. “Be calming down” that came from that boy to the mother was, a prophetic counsel and instruction. He was simply telling the mother relax and take it easy , though in a dramatic way. Three years down the line, we heard that the mother committed su***de. The message of Oreofeoluwa was not properly understood by the mother and the rest of us. She had struggles, pressures and situation that she cannot share with the public, but the angel of the boy discerned it and said to her three years before she committed su***de, ‘calm down.’

‘Calm down’ is the message for everyone today. It means cool down, relax, take it easy, don’t panic, do not be anxious and do not fret. Don’t lose your inner peace. “Calmness is a state of mind and heart where you are at complete peace and free from agitation and are not bound by any strong emotion.”

I learnt how to BE CALM, COOL, AND COLLECTED many years ago. I once worked with someone who was not calm at all. If he wanted to collect something from you, he would take it with force. His words were harsh and loud. He interrupted conversations aggressively even go to where he was not invited. Often my words to him was ‘calm down.’

*Always calm your mind. When you do so, you shall see life more clearly.* After you have done your best, calm down.

Never allow worry and aggression to take toll on you. Learn not to take yourself too seriously. Learn to dislodge anxiety and worry that are building castle within your mind. Learn not to be intimidated by people’s actions and opinions. You have just experienced business failure; calm down. Someone you love died, calm down. You couldn’t meet the target having done all within your capacity, calm down. You have the wound of betrayal, calm down. Your economic power has been decimated, calm down. You are wrongly accused, calm down. You are confused, feel drained and have reached your witts end...

*Just Calm down!*

There are times we just have to stop, sit still and listen. Take things in your strides.
*You must learn to put things behind you and calm down. “The mind is like water, when it’s turbulent, it’s difficult to see, when it’s calm, everything becomes clear.”*

King David undestood this when he wrote, *“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the Still Waters”.*

Do not let circumstances around you, especially the behaviour of others, take away your inner peace.

Remember, God does not lead in turbulent waters, He leads you in still waters.

*PROFITABLE REALITIES*

*1. Do not keep stupid friends all in the name of "No one knows tomorrow." They may not allow you to see that tomorrow, so be very careful.*

*2. Marrying a lady with children doesn't mean you are a fool. A Fool is the biological father that ran away from his responsibility.*

*3. When you care too much, you will be treated as a fool, because they think you can't live without them. Therefore, be wise.*

*4.If you want to go far in life, train your heart to accept disappointments, even if it comes from those you trusted. Because every disappointment has a reason.*

*5. A friend who becomes an enemy after a little misunderstanding has been an enemy all along. They were just pretending. So hold yourself.*

*6. My people, stop keeping clothes and shoes for special occasions, start wearing them when you can. Because nowadays, being alive alone is a special occasion.*

*7. If nobody is mocking or criticizing you, it means you are a nobody. No one throws stones at a fruitless tree. Continue to be fruitful.*

*8. If you want to become useless in life, I mean very useless, depend on people.*

*9. When you find out that, no one is correcting you, don't think you are perfect, you are just beyond repair.*

*10. Don't expect me to hate someone just because you hate him or her. Let me educate you, HATE is not a communicable disease. Suffer your hate virus alone and don't involve me.*

*11. Did you know that, one of the definitions of madness is the act of increasing your speed when you know that you have missed the road, way, or direction?*

OCEAN OF WISDOM

A poor man always think the rich man made his wealth out of luck.

And the rich man believes the poor is poor because he is lazy.

A young lady who married very early thinks ladies who are finding it hard to get married have bad character.

A man who just graduated and get a job immediately thinks he is smarter than others.

While a woman who just got married and start giving birth sees "barren" women as people who lived a wayward life.

If only the poor knew the price the rich paid to get to top and if only the rich knows the battles, challenges that the poor is going through, none will ever form a theory about each other.

If the poor can't appreciate the rich man's success let him mind his business if it is easy to be rich he wouldn't have been poor.

And if the rich won't help the poor grow at least they should not kill the spirit of a struggling man.

If only you know what people endure or fight behind the scene you will always thank God for your life. Until you walk in people's shoes, You will never know how hard the journey is.

*Some cliches or vogues that kept others STAGNATED: avoid it and be CELEBRATED*

1. "One day e go better"

What most people mean by saying this is that one day, without any commitment or effort, they will become successful or have a better life. It's very disturbing that people are deluded by this warped reasoning. Note that becoming a success is not the function of what you say, it's the function of what you do. It's your commitment that determines your result in life. Henceforth, desist from confessing or proclaiming something whereas you are not acting towards it. Stop saying this cliche, and begin to take actionable steps that can take you to where you are going in life.

2. "If it will make me happy, I will do it"

The foundation of the things you do with your life shouldn't be happiness. Happiness itself is not something bad or sinister. However, we must be careful of what the endless and undisciplined pursuit of happiness does to us. Many greater things like living for your purpose; making impacts; becoming the best version of yourself; and having an Ultimate sense of fulfilment will require you forgo your desire for happiness. The people who know the truth about life know that to do the really wonderful things in your lifetime, and to become fulfilled, will not always give you a room to pursue happiness for happiness sake. Like I said before, Happiness is good, but the pursuit of happiness can be your greatest disservice in life.

3. "I can't come and kill myself"

You mean you are not ready to devotedly give your effort to what you desire in life? C'mon, you are a clout!

Let me tell you something: Most things that stresses you trains you. We grow and build strength in the Pandora box not in the swimming pool. Although many people oftentimes get themselves into frivolous activities that won't benefit them a wisp, you must know that the journey of developing yourself and nurturing your potential will always come at the cost of your comfort. Know this and know peace. Everything won't be easy everytime.

Something must stretch you so you won't remain the same. Friction is mostly a signal of advancement or progress in your life.

4. "I don't have the money to pay for it"

This is an indelible and insidious habit. If you find yourself saying this everytime, I am afraid you are repelling good things from your life by programming your brain that "you don't have the money" to get something that is capable of transforming your life.

The more you claim that you don't have, the more your brain is being conditioned to respond the same way anytime you face such moment of making a life-changing decision. Don't steal, or break the bank. What I mean is that you have to create a powerful mindset that if something can really transform you, then it's worthy to scramble for money and get it. The universe has it that once you are ready to do something, the path to achieve it will certainly appear.

5. "I don't have enough time"

We all don't have time on earth. Time keep ticking away everyday. What matters is to know your priorities and set your values. Don't dedicate your time to things that doesn't have long-term benefits; things that have only peripheral gratification. Instead, do the things that can have a long-lasting effect on the fibres of your being. Don't spend your precious time on social media daily--dallying or wishy washying. Don't waste time with friends that can't add value to your life except to indulge you in trifling conversations. You are born for greatness, not mediocrity. Set your values. Know the people you flock with, because they largely determine how your life will eventually be like.

Look at these five vogues/cliches. Which one touched you piercingly? I know you might feel pained to know some of these truth. However, what matters is that you change. And that's why I wrote this. I didn't write to make you feel bad, but to pique your interest and bolster your readiness to turn a new leaf.

A Short Story About Wealth

If you think your need will attract wealth, your expectations will be shattered, and the shattering may damage your health. Wealth is not a respecter of need. Wealth is a respecter of principles. Understand the principles of wealth, and you will be a principal man.

Money doesn’t go where there is need. Money goes where conditions are ideal. When wealth finds itself in the hands of a man who understands money, it will remain there and begin to multiply. Do not focus on only what you like. Learn what money likes and do it well!

Always treat money like a hen. If you eat your hen, it is gone. But if you feed it until it lays eggs, it endures. Eat only what you need. Then let the remaining eggs hatch into hens. You will then have multiple hens laying several eggs, and you will never be poor.

Look at the way God created creation. Everything you eat in nature is naturally regenerated. If you pluck an orange and eat it, you spit out the seeds, which sprout into new orange trees. Use money like that. Eat it, but spit out some to invest and yield more money!

A line has a beginning and an end. So, if you get your money from point A and immediately spend it at point B, your money will have a beginning and an end. A circle has no beginning or end. So if you get your money and invest before spending, it will never end!

If you want your money never to finish, you must circulate it. When cash comes (money comes to everybody at some point), invest it. When it yields profit, spend some and reinvest the rest. If you obey this law of circulating money, you will never be broke in life.

Life is a circle. It comes around in cycles. Everything in life that has sustainability must exist in a cycle. In physics, the sun is maintained by a solar cycle. And the moon also has a lunar cycle called a lunar phase.

A cycle is a natural phenomenon in which elemental, human and animal creatures are moving in a continuum of maturity through various phases and forms of existence that repeat themselves and, by so doing sustains life on Earth in a consistent pattern of growth that is in harmony with NATURE
