CELEBRATING 35 YEARS OF PROGRESS AND THE LIGHT THAT CONTINUES TO SHINE
Today, the 27th of August 2026, we commemorate the 35th anniversary of the creation of Anambra State.
For three and a half decades, Anambra has stood as a symbol of enterprise, innovation, education, and cultural heritage. Across commerce, industry, infrastructure, and human capital development, the contributions of Ndi Anambra at home and in the diaspora have firmly positioned our state as a beacon of excellence in Nigeria and beyond.
As we mark this milestone, we do so with pride in our achievements and with optimism for the future that lies ahead.
Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, the Anambra State Government remains steadfast in its commitment to building a livable, prosperous, and globally competitive homeland. Through deliberate investments in sustainable development, infrastructure renewal, and economic transformation, the foundation for continued growth is being firmly laid.
As an Anambrarian and stakeholder, I reaffirm my commitment to this shared responsibility of nation-building. It is incumbent upon us to ensure that we hand over to future generations an Anambra that is stronger, more prosperous, and worthy of their pride.
May this 35th anniversary renew our collective resolve for unity, progress, excellence, and service.
