3 Reasons You Stay Br0ke for a Very Long Time

A few days ago someone reached out to me on WhatsApp.

He told me he went to school, graduated, but never got a job.
Today he’s over 40 and still struggling financially.

But while he was talking, I noticed something.

Everything was someone else’s fault.

The government.
The system.
The job market.

And I kept thinking…

If you finished school and didn’t get a job, why didn’t you learn a skill?

By now you could have mastered something valuable.

But instead of focusing on solutions, he kept focusing on how he wasted his time in school.

And that brings me to the real issue.

1. Lack of accountability

Many people blame everyone else for their situation instead of asking what they can do differently.

2. No skill people can pay for

Money follows value.

If you don’t have a skill people need, earning money will always be difficult.

And the moment I mentioned learning a skill, he immediately asked if it was free.

The truth is simple.

If you cannot pay for knowledge, Google is free.
YouTube is free.

But many people still don’t want to put in the effort to learn.

3. Giving away value for free

Later in the conversation he told me he always helps people and does things for them for free.

Then he complains about being broke.

I told him something clearly.

If people should be paying you for something but you keep doing it for free, you are teaching them not to value what you do.

Monetize your knowledge.

Charge for the value you create.

Your life can change completely when you start doing that.

To be very honest, Starting your own online business especially digital affiliate marketing is one of the best thing you can do for yourself

But my darling you can do both, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, it’s not easy but it worth it

As at April , May , June Last year, My affiliate marketing business was on a standstill, nothing was working in my favour.

Guess what saved me during those time, My 9-5 job

If you want to quit your job ensure your online business is already stable to the point where even if there is a down moment, it won’t really affect you till you figure it out

I used to think the way out would just “happen” someday.

Maybe a better job.
Maybe luck.
Maybe something unexpected.

But one day it hit me.

Waiting is not a strategy nor a plan. I’m not getting younger everyday

If I want a different life, I have to start building it myself.

So after work, instead of just relaxing, I started:

1. Learning skills that can pay online

2. Building something outside my job

3. Documenting the process

Some days it feels slow.

But doing something small every day still beats standing still.

I don’t have everything figured out yet.

I’m just trying to break cycles and build something better.
