Hollywood’s obsession with the “African accent” is honestly exhausting. Africa is not one country. It’s 54 countries, thousands of languages, and countless unique accents.

Yet Hollywood keeps forcing this fake, deep, exaggerated “African voice” on every African character, erasing the diversity and richness of how millions of people actually speak.
