“I want a strong headshot. I know I don’t have the face of a supermodel, but we can make it work”.😂

That was Moyin during our consultation. She knew she wanted to wear a suit, but she was very clear about what she didn’t want — a regular corporate-looking suit photograph. She wanted to look like a supermodel. Strong, powerful and intentional.

Then she said something that gave me complete creative freedom: “To be honest, just do your thing.”

And I love when a client gives me that kind of trust, because it allows me to take their vision and interpret it in my own way.

So that’s exactly what we did. We pushed beyond the typical suit-and-headshot look and created something that felt elevated, confident and completely her.

I think we understood the assignment.

CHOCOLATE

They say light reveals.

But today, I watched light do something different.

It didn’t try to change Chocolate.
It didn’t ask her to become softer, lighter, or less.

It simply met her where she was.

The white became brighter.
The shadows became poetry.
And her presence reminded me that light doesn’t diminish depth. It celebrates it.

Maybe that’s what birthdays are.

Not becoming someone new.

But standing more confidently in who you’ve always been.
