One of the clearest tests of a relationship is not how deeply you desire each other, but whether you can honour God while you desire each other.

If marriage is truly the destination, why must you violate the boundaries God gave you on the way there?

Real love can wait.
Real love can exercise self-control.
Real love can say “God comes first.”

You don't prove that someone is your future spouse by giving them what belongs within marriage.

You prove the strength of your convictions when desire is present—and you still choose obedience.

“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.”

Don't let affection become an excuse for disobedience.

Don't let desire become stronger than conviction.

Don't build a relationship while destroying the very holiness you want God to bless.

Every encounter should produce another hunger.
Every season should produce growth.
Every time you meet with God, you should leave with strength for the next journey.

You were not called to remain where you started.

Keep coming before God. Keep pressing. Keep growing.

The journey with God is not from strength to comfort.

It is from strength to strength.

It is easy to honour the people we admire.

It is easy to celebrate a man of God publicly, call him “Daddy,” give gifts, and speak highly of him.

But what happens when you return home?

How do you speak to your parents?
How do you treat the people who have known you before the platform came?
Can the people closest to you see the character you display in public?

God is not only interested in what people see on the altar.

He is also interested in who you are when nobody is applauding you.

Never let spiritual language become a cover for poor character.

The closer you walk with God, the more His nature should be seen in your everyday life.

LET YOUR PRIVATE LIFE AGREE WITH YOUR PUBLIC CONFESSION.
