Military strength, power and discipline are the backbone of any formidable force.

They represent not just the ability to defend a nation but the courage to stand firm in the face of adversity.

True strength is not measured only by weapons or numbers but by unity, training and the unwavering spirit of those who serve.

May God protect the Nigerian Army, grant them strength in the face of danger, courage in moments of uncertainty and wisdom in every operation.

May their sacrifices never be in vain and may peace and victory always be their portion as they defend the unity and sovereignty of our nation. 🇳🇬🇳🇬

BOKO HARAM: Terr0r in Plain Sight in Borno

Shocking footage shows hundreds of Boko Haram and ISWAP militants openly holding prayers in Borno State, Nigeria, armed with AK-47s and high-grade weapons.

The display has sent waves of fear through communities and raised serious concerns about the strength of these terror groups and the effectiveness of current military operations.

‎JUST IN: A Nigerian Army Major's Moment That Calmed the Storm, When Strength Speaks with Compassion.

‎In a time of rising tension and hardship, a Major of the Nigerian Army chose dialogue over force.

‎As youths agitated for food, development and a better Nigeria, he stepped forward with calmness and courage.

‎He did not shout.
‎He did not threaten.
‎He listened.

‎With love and compassion, he acknowledged their pain.
‎With strength and wisdom, he reminded them that peace remains powerful.

‎His words carried authority, yet his tone carried empathy.

‎In that moment, he won more than control of a crowd, he won their hearts.

‎He showed that true leadership is not only about command, but about connection.

‎Nigeria needs firm hands, yes, but also understanding hearts.

‎This Major proved that the uniform can represent protection and partnership.

‎Sometimes, the greatest victory is not on the battlefield, but in building trust.

Nigerian Army personnel injured in the line of duty receive medical care and support through the intervention of the Kebbi State Governor.

In a remarkable display of compassion and leadership, the Kebbi State Governor has extended medical support to Nigerian Army soldiers wounded in action while defending the nation. These gallant troops, who sustained serious injuries during counter insurgency operations, were visited and assured of full support for their treatment and rehabilitation.
Among them are two brave soldiers who suffered life altering injuries from improvised explosive device explosions.

One hero lost a leg in the line of duty and has been promised a prosthetic limb to help restore his mobility and independence.

Another soldier tragically lost his hand in a separate explosion, and the Governor has committed to covering the cost of an artificial hand to aid his recovery and reintegration.

These sacrifices are a sobering reminder of the dangers our troops face daily to ensure the safety and unity of Nigeria. The Governor’s intervention not only provides medical assistance but also sends a strong message that their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.
As they continue their recovery, the prayers and gratitude of the nation remain with them. Their bravery embodies the true spirit of service, resilience, and unwavering commitment to duty.

Nigerian Army Celebrates 162nd Anniversary in Grand Style

I had the honour of being part of the Nigerian Army’s week-long series of activities marking its 162nd Anniversary, which came to a colourful close with the Grand Finale of the Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL) 2025.

The grand event took place at Murtala Mohammed Square in Kaduna State on Sunday, 6th July 2025. It was an unforgettable moment filled with pride, honour and deep reflection on the sacrifices and achievements of our gallant forces over the years.

As a serving member and witness, I felt the spirit of unity, strength, and resilience that defines the Nigerian Army. This celebration wasn't just about the past, it was a call to the future, to stay committed and remain ever loyal to the mission of protecting our beloved nation.

NADCEL 2025 will surely remain in the hearts of many who were privileged to experience it.
