Isaac Digital’s Advice to Students Struggling With Meta Ads Manager App
Friend, I know how frustrating it can be when Meta Ads Manager app on your phone starts misbehaving , campaigns not publishing, CTA buttons changing by themselves, or the whole process feeling like stress.
But hear me: this doesn’t have to stop your growth. There are smarter ways around it, even if you don’t own a laptop yet.
Here are some practical ideas that will change the story for you
1. Use Meta Business Suite Instead of Ads Manager App
Download the Meta Business Suite app (different from Ads Manager).
It’s lighter, more stable on mobile, and lets you run and monitor campaigns with less errors.
Most students don’t know this is available, but it works far better for creating simple ads.
2. Switch Your Browser to Desktop Mode
On Chrome (or any mobile browser), when you log into business.facebook.com, tap the menu and select “Desktop Site.”
This gives you the full laptop-like version of Ads Manager on your phone.
Yes, the screen is small, but it avoids many of those glitches from the mobile app.
3. Create Drafts on Mobile, Finalize Elsewhere
If your ad keeps failing at the last slide, create it up to the draft stage.
Then borrow a laptop from a friend, use a café, or a local business hub with computers.
Just log in and finalize it will takes 5 minutes instead of struggling for 2 hours on your phone.
4. Use Third-Party Tools for Easier Setup
Some tools integrate with Facebook Ads and are mobile-friendly. For example:
Canva Ads Manager Integration (create and push ads directly).
Buffer / Hootsuite (for boosting posts in a smoother way).
They don’t replace Ads Manager 100%, but for simple traffic/engagement campaigns, they’re gold.
5. Build Your Ad Creative First
Don’t waste time editing creatives inside Ads Manager.
Use Canva (or CapCut for video) to finish your ad creatives before you open Ads Manager.
