BREAKING: Ex-Army Chief Irabor Urges Arrest of Sani Jingir, Ahmad Gumi

Former Chief of Army Staff, General Lucky Irabor, has called on authorities to arrest Islamic clerics Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir and Sheikh Ahmad Gumi over statements he believes could fuel public unrest and worsen Nigeria’s security situation.

Speaking on Channels Television, Irabor said some comments attributed to the clerics at different times could have serious implications for national security. He emphasized that everyone is subject to the law and urged the authorities to take appropriate action where necessary.
