The first four frames were taken in december last year when we made a short fashion piece of different informal communities in Lagos, and those frames were taken in Agọ-egun, Bariga.

The last five frames are what's currently happening in the community.
Escalators came yesterday evening to demolish people's houses.

So many people in Lagos are working towards a better future for themselves and their children, how will that happen is people keep getting forcefully evicted from their homes without proper structure, planning, alternative, and compensation.

Yesterday was "Giving Tuesday" and these are some of the pictures I took.

It's very funny how one picks up habits unintentionally.
Sam and I worked on a documentary project recently, and one of the things we were told to avoid was shooting children, showing their faces in the work.

It actually followed me here, to the extent that I really do not want to show some adults' faces.

I really enjoyed photographing this.

Two weeks ago, I received an invitation from my brother and friend .photograbber to speak at his exhibition and book launch, and it was a huge privilege.

I've listened to numerous speakers on that same stage, and to be seated there, speaking to the audience, was an entirely different experience.

I met Ayorinde through a photowalk in 2018, my first one (he was the one that invited me as well), and he was among the initial people I interacted with on Instagram.

Today’s my birthday! Honestly, I wasn’t planning to post this… but here we are.

My name is Ogungbamila Temitope Juliana Oluwaṣẹgun Toluwalaṣẹ Ọbabiọlọrunosi (birthdays are the perfect excuse to pull out all my names 🤭).

I’m a filmmaker and photographer. What began as a simple love for the camera has grown into something much deeper, a calling to tell stories that matter. Over time, I’ve realized the power in storytelling and media making, not just for preserving voices but for empowering people, especially within my community and other informal settlements. I see my skills as a privilege, and I want to use them to make impact.

This year, I have several projects lined up, and I’ll definitely need your support in different ways (financial support is very important, but there are other ways too 😊).
