Bolaji Abdullahi, Factional spokesperson of the ADC, blames APC for all the woes of their ADC Faction.

To prove his point, he said "look at the way APC Spokesperson is happy". He said "if we go to any other party, we will see their hands again". Lol Lazy opposition, why didn’t you form your own political party? Why are you always looking for already established party?

But they both deliberately refused to amend the constitution of Nigeria, removing the powers of appointing INEC chairman by Mr President, because they thought they would remain in power forever.

BREAKING: Court orders suspension of Adamawa State ADC congresses scheduled to commence today, following a suit by the factional state chairman Shehu Yohanna.

The ADC in Adamawa State has been going through crisis due to three factions in the party, with a faction loyal to former SGF Babachir Lawal, who's reportedly supporting former Governor Bindow for the governorship, another loyal to Aisha Binani, and one led by Shehu Yohanna, who was the party's chairman before the adoption of ADC as the coalition party.

Meanwhile, Senator Ishaku Abbo, who was in former SGF Babachir Lawal's camp, has also boycotted the congresses being organised today, saying the party has refused to negotiate with Aisha Binani over the party's structure.

Also, Aisha Binani, who plans to run for the governorship in ADC, is also boycotting the congresses being organised by former SGF Babachir Lawal's faction.

The first civilian governor of Imo State was Dr. Samuel Onunaka Mbakwe (1929–2004), who governed from October 1, 1979, to December 31, 1983, during the Nigerian Second Republic.

He was known affectionately as "Dee Sam" or "The Weeping Governor,".

Dee Sam was elected under the platform of the Nigerian People's Party (NPP).

He is widely considered the best governor of the state due to massive infrastructure development, including the establishment of Imo State University (now Abia State University), the Concord Hotel, and the Imo Airport (now Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport).

He earned this nickname for his emotional appeals to the federal government to address the needs and infrastructure deficits of Imo State.

He was re-elected in 1983 and his second term was cut short by the December 31, 1983, military coup.

Dr. Mbakwe hailed from Obowo in present-day Imo State and remained a respected elder statesman until his death in 2004.
