A few years ago, I worked with a small business that spent most of its budget on running paid ads without building an email list or nurturing their audience. At first, traffic spiked, but as soon as the ad spend dried up, sales dropped.
Lesson Learned
Don’t rely only on ads or social media. Use them to build your own audience (email list, SMS, community). This ensures you have a stable customer base even if ad budgets or algorithms change.
