Sometimes the issue isn’t lack of experience.
It’s how that experience is being presented.

Recruiters should be able to see your value in 6 seconds. If they can’t, they move on.

A few examples 👇
✅ *20+ years senior professional* — CV lists every job ever done. No clarity on what role they’re actually best for.
✅ *Experienced Machine Operator* — CV just says "Machine Operator." All the technical expertise? Invisible.
✅ *Rigger in Shipbuilding, Oil & Gas, Nuclear* — Experience is there, but not positioned. So recruiters miss it.
✅ *Healthcare Leader* — Managed budgets, payroll, compliance, teams. But the CV is just a duty list. Leadership gets buried.

Different industries. Same problem.

That’s why I tell my clients:
*Don’t list your experience. Position it.*

Your CV should answer:
→ What do you do best?
→ What problems do you solve?
→ What level do you operate at?
→ What results have you delivered?
→ Why should a recruiter pick YOU?

Your LinkedIn should echo it. Your portfolio should prove it. Your applications should be tailored.

Sometimes you don’t need more experience.
You need a better way to communicate the experience you already have.

That’s the difference between a CV and a career positioning strategy.
