ARTICLE 12: THE TERMS OF THE TREATY SHALL BE ENFORCED BY ALL THE KINGDOMS UNTIL THE PROCLAMATION OF PEACE.

DATED THE 23" DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1886.

ILE IFẸ WAS RECOGNISED THE YORUBA CRADLE CITY IN THE PEACE TREATY OF 1886:

As you can see clearly, the name of Alaafin and Ọwa appeared in the Article. EKITI and IBADAN were both required to remain independent. ILE IFẸ and MODAKẸKẸ were mentioned specifically for peace to reign, Modakẹkẹ people were required to be moved out of the Cradle Land of ILE IFẸ.

ILE IFẸ protection and sanctity was affirmed under Article 8 of The Yoruba Peace Treaty 1886:

ALL WARRIORS, ARMIES AND NATIVE MILITIA SHALL ENSURE THE SANCTITY OF IFE AND SHALL WITHDRAW THEIR SOLDIERS AND ALLIES FROM IFE TERRITORIES.

_ Article 8.

ILE IFẸ remains the cradle of all Yoruba people worldwide as confirmed in the peace treaty before ALAAFIN ADEYẸMI I, listed seven towns in 1888, when he claimed they are now the proper Yoruba, which has been causing problem since Late Alaafin Adeyẹmi lll continued to make same false claims too, and many are believing the false narratives because they do not know much about the details of the 12 Articles of The Yoruba Peace Treaty 1886 which was signed two years before Alaafin signed the treaty of ỌYỌ in 1888.

We share these important historic information to educate everyone, so we do not continue to fight or argue over petty issues. Also, so that everyone would know their boundaries and all Yoruba rulers would relate as family. Anyone making false claims would be corrected where necessary to avoid misleading people which could cause serious tension as it happened when the new Alaafin ỌWỌADE was crowned, he did not act like an Ọba who knows that ILE IFẸ is the cradle city of the entire Yoruba race and ỌỌNI is the supreme authority over the entire Yoruba race.

ALAAFIN AND ỌWA were mentioned in the Article because EKITI PARAPỌ rejected Alaafin’s involvement and affirmed that ỌỌNI IFẸ is the only ỌBA according to History, who can mediate in the issue. Ekiti people understood the whole issue and they were the ones who protected ILE IFẸ, they knew ILE IFẸ must be protected. ỌWA said ALAAFIN was his brother when they stated that the position of Alaafin as the youngest among the ODUDUWA’S descendants. Alaafin tried to act like elder but ỌWA and EKITI PARAPỌ rejected his involvement because they know history. ✍️

Peace was restored and that was why Article 3 mentioned Alaafin and Ọwa and other Ọba to relate as brothers. 💯👌

Why is Iran resisting the American assault today?*

Dear Africans, know this: the Iranians who design these missiles, develop these drones, and build these defense systems are the same ones who go to the International Mathematical Olympiad and bring back gold medals.
Iran consistently ranks among the top nations in the world at the International Mathematical Olympiad every year. In 2025, the Iranian team won six medals in Australia: two gold, three silver, and one bronze, placing 12th out of 110 participating countries. This is nothing new. In 1994, 17-year-old Maryam Mirzakhani became the first Iranian woman to win a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad with a score of 41 out of 42. The following year, in 1995, she achieved a perfect score of 42 out of 42, becoming the first Iranian student to win two gold medals in this competition. In 2014, she became the first woman to receive the Fields Medal, the equivalent of the Nobel Prize in mathematics. This is what needs to be understood. In this war, no one is waving the Bible or the Quran. It's missiles against missiles. Technology against technology. Intelligence against intelligence. Prayers are worthless against drones. Quranic verses are worthless against radar. And religious invocations are worthless against air defense systems. Macron said it yesterday: “To be free, you must be feared. To be feared, you must be powerful.” And this power, today, no longer comes from the size of your army or the number of your soldiers. It comes from the quality of your education. From the rigor of your scientific system. From the ability of your engineers to design technologies that stand up to the greatest

Over time, the Iranian education system has become ultra-elitist, based on relentless competition from middle school through university. The winners of these various competitions form an internationally recognized scientific elite. And this elite today doesn't just design mathematical theorems. It designs ballistic missiles. It designs drones. It designs encryption systems. It designs radars.

Because mathematics, physics, and engineering are what make a country powerful. They are what make it feared. And ultimately, they are what make it free. While some African countries are producing generations of children who reach middle school without knowing how to read or write, Iran is producing geniuses who go to the International Mathematical Olympiad and bring home medals. While some African education systems recruit teachers with only a middle school diploma to compensate for a level they themselves lack, Iran has established an ultra-competitive system that identifies the most promising minds as early as middle school and pushes them to achieve excellence. And today, these same brilliant minds enable Iran to withstand the world's most powerful army. Because they understand that without this scientific strength, there can be neither freedom nor sovereignty.

This is the lesson to be learned from this war. A country's true power is not measured by the size of its army. It is measured by the quality of its education, the rigor of its scientific system, and the ability of its engineers to design technologies that rival those of the greatest nations. Because without this scientific foundation, without this intellectual elite, Iran would have been crushed in a matter of hours. It would be neither feared, nor powerful, nor free.

So, dear Africans, while we fight over trivialities, other countries are training their children to design missiles. And the day Africa faces an existential threat, it will be neither prayers, nor invocations, nor speeches that will save it. It will be science, technology, intelligence, or nothing at all.
Meanwhile back in Nigeria our educational system has been completely destroyed. Everything has been reduced to religious differences. Universities are being established like POS centres without any defined goal. Anyway when the head ship is rotten and gift out positions based on nepotism and not on merit the end result is a mediocre society. Education is power. But education has been bastardized in Nigeria.

Protesters in South Africa’s Eastern Cape have set ablaze vehicles and buildings reportedly owned by foreign nationals, amid outrage over the installation of a Nigerian traditional ruler in the area.

According to a Monday report by Newzroom Africa, tensions have escalated in KuGompo City, where the violence is linked to the controversial coronation of an Igbo leader as a local king an event said to have been organised by members of the Nigerian community.

The unrest has sparked widespread concern, as authorities monitor the situation following the destruction of properties tied to foreign residents.
