DÚDÚ Sessions returns for its second edition.
An intimate series exploring entertainment, culture and music across African cities.

For EP.002, we head to Ibadan in collaboration with Red Light Fashion Room by Artpool Studios (RLFR), an artpoolstudios subsidiary that has been building community around electronic music in the city for the past five years.

We’re joined by founder Victor Iyanam II (Victor Iyaman) & head of operations . (Omenogor Udome) to discuss their recently concluded Sound Lab Showcase RLFR Sound Lab , an accelerator and development programme for emerging DJs building a creative community in Ibadan, and their vision for the city’s future.

The conversation will be followed by music from Sound Lab alumni, bringing the next generation of Ibadan talent into the spotlight.

Gearing up for our 13th edition of DÚDÚ Live, and this one is a little special.

We’re taking over Palava House , a purposefully curated third space for people and their palava, for an intimate vinyl only edition.

Tickets are very limited, but we’ve added a few more spots so if this is your sort of scene, grab yours via the link in our bio.

For this edition, we have three very special vinyl selectors:

Lady Donli blessing us with a vinyl set from her very vast record collection.

Polite Jr creative and longtime record collector, joining us on the decks.

And our very own kola olatunji 🇳🇬 hosting this special edition and digging into the crates.

Guiding us through the day is chisom .

This one promises to be a very special edition. No rush, no hype just good records, good people and their palava.

For our official 13th edition, we’re teaming up with Palava House for a special VINYL-ONLY edition. 🎚️

Palava House is a space “for people and their palava” Wonder what that means 🤔 We’re excited to bring our people down to experience it for themselves.

On the decks, we have Lady Donli the pan African rockstar fun fact she has an extensive vinyl collection and loves to spin!

Polite Jr PRSS of Club NDJN , who says he plays “beer parlour music” 😂.

and our very own kola olatunji 🇳🇬 digging into his vinyl collection.

Hosting the evening is our girl chisom Stephanie Ozuo, longtime DÚDÚ creative and one of the brains behind this edition.

You’ll be able to pick one up at any of our DÚDÚ events taking place throughout the rest of the year, or simply send us a DM to place your order.

Our first edition of DÚDÚ Sessions is now live on YouTube. 🎬

Filmed at A11 Studios, Cape Town, Episode 001 is split into two parts:
🎧 The B2B Session — a Dub, Minimal & House set with Vicmari & kola olatunji 🇳🇬
💬 The Conversation — a relaxed, honest sit-down where we get back to the basics, talking about underground music, creativity, and building culture across Africa.

We didn’t have any scripts, just two selectors sharing ideas and experiences.

A new series documenting the selectors, sounds, and conversations shaping Africa’s underground culture.

Each episode brings together respected DJs, selectors, artists, and cultural workers for two things:

Music and meaningful conversation.

For Episode 001, sits down with South African producer and selector for a Dub & Minimal House B2B set, followed by an honest discussion about the creative industries, underground music, community building, and the realities of creating from the continent.
