While our nation continues to face challenges, we also recognize the progress made, the opportunities ahead, and the countless individuals and communities working every day to build a better future.

When we hosted Rev. Niyi Adebayo Niyi Adebayo on Explore Ogbomoso, one thing he mentioned stood out. He shared that Jacob Afolayanka Adebayo Resource Centre was not built primarily for personal profit, but as a contribution to the economic and digital development of Ogbomosoland.

That vision gave birth to a facility that has served students, institutions, professionals, job seekers, and countless members of our community.

Today, as conversations continue around the future of JAARC, we are reminded that some visions are bigger than the buildings that house them.
They are about people and impact.

We believe that a vision established for community development deserves every opportunity to continue thriving in hands that understand, protect, and advance its original purpose.

Our hope is that the legacy, impact, and possibilities represented by JAARC will continue to benefit Ogbomoso for many years to come.

Some visions are worth preserving.
May the Lord grant every one involved strength, wisdom direction and help at such a time as this. Amen.

THIS IS JAARC, OGBOMOSO.

JAARC is an ICT/CBT Centre located at Abaa, Ogbomoso, established by Zoe Group of Schools under the visionary leadership of Rev. Niyi Adebayo

With a capacity of over 550 candidates, Jacob Afolayanka Adebayo Resource Centre is recognized as one of the largest privately owned CBT centres in Nigeria.

Within just one year of operation, the Centre has earned accreditations from JAMB, WAEC, TRCN, NITDA, the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and other reputable bodies.

In 2025, only three CBT Centres in Oyo State were approved by WAEC. JAARC was one of them.

Built with modern, state-of-the-art facilities, JAARC has immensely contributed to digital literacy, created opportunities, served institutions, and empowered countless individuals across Ogbomosoland.

JAARC is a vision.
A vision that has blessed many lives.
A vision that has brought pride to Ogbomosoland.

Today, that vision is at a crossroads.
JAARC is on the verge of being sold.

While a change of ownership is a normal business decision, it could also mean a change in the vision, values, and long-term direction of the Centre.
As a community, we believe that this vision is worth preserving.

We believe JAARC should remain in the hands of people who understand its purpose, appreciate its impact, and genuinely desire the growth and development of our community.

This is therefore a sincere appeal to sons and daughters of Ogbomoso, at home and in the diaspora, community leaders, business owners, philanthropists, and all lovers of Ogbomoso:
Can we come together to save JAARC?

Can we rally around this vision and help ensure that what has been built with sacrifice, commitment, and passion continues to serve future generations?

We desire a solution where everyone wins, where the vision is preserved, and where the impact continues.

But through it all, we pray that the best decision is made, and God’s will, comes to pass. Amen.

AN OPEN LETTER TO OGBOMOSOLAND ON THE FUTURE OF JAARC

Dear Ogbomosoland,
Today, we write with a mixture of gratitude, concern, and hope.
Over the years, Rev. Niyi Adebayo has dedicated a significant part of his life to the development of Ogbomoso through education, leadership, youth development, and technology. Through his ministry, Zoe Schools, and particularly through JAARC, he has invested in people, created opportunities, and contributed to the growth of our community in ways that many may never fully know.

Earler Today, Rev. Adebayo shared the difficult realities and challenges facing JAARC, challenges that have led to the painful decision of selling the ICT and CBT Centre to an interested buyer.

Regardless of where one stands, one thing deserves recognition: it takes courage to speak openly about struggles. It takes humility to share burdens publicly. And it takes remarkable strength to continue serving despite challenges.

For this, we salute Rev. Niyi Adebayo.

JAARC represents years of sacrifice, vision, and investment in the future of our people. It is part of a larger story of community development and capacity building in Ogbomoso.

Are there individuals, organizations, businesses, associations, alumni groups, philanthropists, or sons and daughters of Ogbomoso at home and in the diaspora who can step forward?

Can solutions be found that will preserve the vision and impact that JAARC has created over the years?

We do not claim to have the answers. But we believe this story deserves the attention of everyone who cares about the future of Ogbomoso.

To Rev. Niyi Adebayo, thank you for your years of service, sacrifice, and commitment to our community. Your work has touched lives, and your contributions will not be forgotten.

And to Ogbomosoland, perhaps this is one of those moments when a community comes together to preserve something valuable in the hands of individuals we know have our best interest at heart.

May wisdom guide every decision, and may the best outcome emerge for all involved.

Sincerely,
Explore Ogbomoso Media
