MEET DR. SAMSON ADEKUNLE ADEGBITE

One of such remarkable personalities is Dr Kunle Adegbite, popularly known as Twindad, a distinguished healthcare professional, philanthropist, entrepreneur, community leader, and the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) House of Representatives Candidate for Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency.

Born and raised in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Dr. Adegbite’s educational journey reflects determination, discipline, and a strong desire for excellence. He attended Olopemarun Primary School and Federal Government College Staff School, Ogbomoso, before proceeding to Ogbomoso Baptist High School and later the School of Science, Ogbomoso. Driven by a passion for healthcare and service to humanity, he gained admission to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), where he earned a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree in 2007. His quest for professional growth later took him to the United States, where he obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from UMass Global between 2020 and 2023.
Today, Dr. Adegbite is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with years of experience in psychiatric and mental healthcare. Throughout his career, he has distinguished himself through excellence in patient care, advocacy, and the promotion of mental health awareness. His professional accomplishments have earned him respect within the healthcare sector, while his passion for helping others has inspired many beyond the walls of hospitals and clinics.
What truly sets Dr.Kunle Adegbite apart is his dedication to humanitarian service and community development. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Twindad Foundation, he has championed numerous initiatives aimed at uplifting vulnerable and underserved members of society.
Through the foundation, support has been provided to the House of Grace Orphanage in Ogbomoso, while educational assistance and scholarship opportunities have helped many young people pursue their dreams. Widows and vulnerable individuals have benefited from empowerment programmes, and persons living with disabilities have received wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
The foundation has also executed community development projects, including water and social welfare initiatives, while promoting youth empowerment and educational advancement across different communities.

He currently serves as President of Ogbomoso Youths in North America (OYNA) and Vice President of Ogbomoso Indigenes in Southern California.
Through these positions, he has consistently promoted unity, educational advancement, healthcare development, economic empowerment, and initiatives designed to strengthen ties among Ogbomoso sons and daughters across the globe.
