Sixteen Prospective Corps Members from AFUED Tragically Lose Their Lives in Road Accident En Route to NYSC Camp Sixteen prospective corps members from Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo, have reportedly lost their lives in a tragic road accident while traveling to the NYSC Orientation Camp in Gombe State. According to eyewitness accounts, the vehicle conveying the students was involved in a fatal crash along their travel route, leading to the heartbreaking loss of multiple young lives who were on their way to begin their national service. In addition to the confirmed fatalities, two other students from the same institution are said to be in critical condition and are currently receiving urgent medical attention. Authorities and NYSC officials are yet to release full details pending further investigations. The devastating incident has thrown the AFUED community, their families, and many Nigerians into deep mourning, as the victims were young graduates full of promise and on the verge of commencing a new chapter in life.
