WHAT KIND OF FUTURE DO YOU DESIRE?
As you grow up in life,
You'll be tempted to have that entitlement mindset and mentality.
Buh lemme shock you,
No one cares.
Everybody is busy with their lives.
Forget the flirts of uncles and aunties that you have.
Well, if the uncle and aunty thing works for you, we thank God for your life, you're indeed blessed, helped and salvaged. Praise God!
Buh for those "that flirt of relatives thing" does not work for, never you get mad or be angry at them though you might be tempted to.
It got to a point that I felt that I'm not even entitled to my parents. They perhaps can't give me as much of the type of life I want to live, thus, I have to stressfully and legitimately push myself to the wall to survive, to put things in order, to work towards the type of life I want to live.
Sometimes I literally forget that I even have parents, uncles and aunties and I'm even the type that hates bothering people, my parents inclusive.
I have to share this because I see so many young persons who don't have enough help and they're so relaxed, they're so much at ease in Zion.
If you're one of these sort as delineated above, then just know that you're playing with poverty. Poverty might shock you if you don’t act swiftly to salvage your future.
Life is not easy,
No one will tell you this in your Church.
No one will preach this to you at the mosque.
Degree will not tell you this.
The University will not tell you this.
It is life itself that will have you hitted with its reality, then you'll know that LIFE INDEED IS NOT EASY.
It's only the Strong and Determined specie that have migrated from lower class to maybe middle or upper class citizens.
Don't just live life anyhow and expect things to fall in pleasant places by fate and chance. If this is the case, you're playing dice with your future.
I'm specifically talking to the young ones,
The Youths, because this is the right time.
What kind of Life do you want to live?
What future do you desire?
Have you ever asked yourself this question?
Try to imagine life after school.
Imagine a life without help or support,
And ask yourself this, how then do I survive?
Think about this!
I could have just stopped here buh let's be practical a bit.
The first time I analyzed my tomorrow was in 2019. It was towards the end of the year and I wanted something better in the anticipated new year.
For the first time in my life,
I planned each of my week and month in 2020. It was though, more effective with the months.
I had a budget and it was so huge,
How then do I produce this budget?
My salary then as a teacher in a private school was just 12k. 12k times 12 is #144,000, that's even if they pay you consistently; and this figure was nothing close to my budget.
I had forms to buy,
Exams to write,
Admission was coming,
Who'll finance all the money protocols that goes with admission application and with admission itself when it finally comes?
When you honestly analyze your tomorrow,
It'd help you to make quality decisions. 📌
Men and Brethren,
I resigned my job; is that one job self? 🤷
Buh wait,
Before I resigned, I already had a plan.
For the first time in life, I tangibly contemplated on working for myself.
After series of examination and reexamination,
I concluded on going into Agriculture. I became an Agropreneur and I honestly made good tons of money from Agriculture. In some of the months, I made more than times two of my previous salary as a teacher, even when I did not have to work for more than 20days in a month with unnecessary "employer pressure".
I even attempted two other businesses, one failed buh the other was successful. I lost so much money buh I gained experience. Would like to talk about them in a subsequent article.
I hated farming,
I hated stress,
Buh I had to "necessarily stress myself" for the sake of my tomorrow.
To me,
This is one of the best decisions I made in life.
And I've promised myself that no matter my academic career, whether I be a President or Governor tomorrow, I'll have many modern and commercial farms, not just because I want to have and amass more money to myself buh because I want to create more employment for teaming unemployed youths and folks.
There's employment in Agriculture! ✅📌
This is not even about Agriculture,
Think beyond Agriculture.
Have your own specialty, your area of interest.
I type this with a Great passion for a change,
Guy, you deserve a better life.
Think! Think!! Think!!!
Invest in your future,
Degree is good buh think entrepreneurship.
Learn 21st Century sellable skills.
Do all these and more for the sake of your future.
There are high income skills that can fetch you as much as 350 to 750k in a month.
