MORNING AFFIRMATIONS πŸŒŸπŸŒ„

β€ŽπŸ©΅ I am an embodiment of beauty and brains, no one can ever make me feel little.
β€ŽπŸ©΅I will carry myself with poise and grace, because, what I carry within is extraordinary.
β€ŽπŸ©΅The Lord God gave me life for a purpose, I'll therefore live it to the fullest.
β€ŽπŸ©΅I carry potentials beyond explanation, I will push myself to the extreme to achieve my goals.
β€ŽπŸ©΅I will not wait for applauds, I will do me with no questions asked.
β€ŽπŸ©΅I am bigger and better than I was yesterday, I will work consistently to become the best.
β€ŽπŸ©΅I will not rest until I have tapped into my full potential, I refuse to be mediocre.
β€ŽπŸ©΅I was not born by mistake, I carry a purpose, I have a dream and I will attain great heights.
β€ŽπŸ©΅I refuse to be stagnant, I'll leave my comfort zone and take steps towards my goals.
β€ŽπŸ©΅There is none like me, I'm totally exceptional and I am the best there is.

So since this year 2025 began, I decided it was time to make some changes to my life. Here are some of the changes I decided to work on.......

πŸ’œ Make myself more visible online by posting consistently. Although I would say I've made myself visible a little bit, I haven't gotten to where I want to be but I'm glad I'm not where I was when the year started. If I can recall correctly, I started this year with about two thousand plus followers but currently I'm at 5.4k, it might not be massive to some of you but to me, that's progress no matter how little it is. Rome they say was not built in a day, I'm taking it one day at a time and hoping to get where I want to be. My main account is Joy O. Emmanuel follow to enjoy stories and interesting write ups.

πŸ’œ Specializing in something. So I've always known I had a knack for writing, I just never had the leverage of testing my skills outside school work and assignments. So as the new year began, I decided to give it a shot and so far, it hasn't been so bad. My only challenge is crafting stories and posting back to back. Sometimes I just go blank and my body doesn't feel like writing even though I have ideas in my head. I'm still trying to work on that though.

πŸ’œ Start earning money no matter how small. This is the most important out of all things I just mentioned. Unlike some people my age, I've never had the opportunity to take on a job due to personal family engagements, so I decided to take on one of the numerous online skills and see if it pays of. I first registered for Madam Okpe Elizabeth Ihuto Telecoms class with the intention of being an operator, she already warned us ahead in the class that id you're not consistent, you won't exactly make profit and I guess she was right.

The fact that Telecom companies hiked the prices of all their services even made it worse, I haven't really found a platform cheap enough to earn me profits. So I just put that on hold and decided to try out something else.

Now affiliate marketing has always been something I wanted to do, I just never had anyone to tutor me and all the videos I watched on YouTube just seemed so complicated. After months of searching I finally found a class I could afford, I'm currently undergoing training and I must say it has been fun. I have learnt alot of things I didn't know about the online space and I've also realized that without consistency, persistence and determination you're never going to make it in the online space.

So with that knowledge I'm putting in more efforts because we must get value for our money and also this year must end differently with some cash at hand😊😌😌 because My friends don too insult me because of this Sapa thing.

Anyways, what were your new year revolutions and what are you doing to chase them??

With the time I've spent here on earth, I've learnt never to mock this thing called death... As we all know, it is no respecter of persons, background, religion, race or anything at all. It just comes and snatches people away like a robber at night.
β€Ž
β€ŽSo, our one and only Bubu passed away, and this recent development has sparked alot of things online. The one that actually got me was the high level of carefreeness in the way people addressed the ex president's passing.
β€Ž
β€ŽDon't get me wrong though, I myself do not like Buhari and I never have, if I'm being honest, he was actually one of Nigeria's wahala. What I really do not understand is the sudden rage channelled towards a man who has gone to meet his maker, most of the comments I saw actually had me mortified. Nigerians are really hilarious and they always have a way of squeezing out humour even in serious situations like DEATH.
β€Ž
β€ŽWhen I first heard about the ex president's demise, I actually had no physical reaction or words to reply my Dad who was actually watching the news that morning, I just stood there blank. I guess that's because I never liked him to begin with, but I immediately cautioned my thoughts, to avoid rejoicing over someone's death. I was just amazed at the kind of comments I was seeing online, una too do sha.
β€Ž
β€ŽThere's this knot I always get in my chest anytime I hear about the death of people, even though they aren't related to me in any way. Respecting the dead is something I always have at the back of my mind, no matter how wicked or kind that person was. It happens unexpectedly, it could be me, you or anybody so I see no reason to laugh in such cases, maybe if I had the full life insurance plan that would get me to any age I want den maybe, just maybe I might find the humour in another person's death the way a lot of you have.
β€Ž
β€ŽI don't like Buhari, I never have, buh it is wise to respect the dead no matter what and instead of judging, let HIM who created all things do the Judgement.
