The Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma Saakpenwa, Ogoni, Rivers State (FUET), has recorded another historic milestone as its pioneer students have successfully received their matriculation gowns in preparation for the forthcoming matriculation ceremony scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 3rd February, 2026.

The collection of matriculation gowns marks a significant step in the journey of the pioneer students, formally ushering them into the academic community of FUET. The Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET), Koroma Tai/Saakpenwa,

under the able leadership of Prof. Prince Chinedu Mmom, DSSRS, the capacity Pioneer Vice-Chancellor and former Commissioner for Education, Rivers State, has joyfully announced the arrival of two coaster buses.

The buses are designated to convey FUET students between Saakpenwa Campus and Koroma Campus, with special consideration for students residing in the hostels.

Prof. Prince Chinedu Mmom, DSSRS, has once again demonstrated that he is a proactive and forward-thinking administrator who came fully prepared to lead.

‎The general public is hereby informed that the Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET) will hold its First Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students as scheduled below:
‎
‎Date: Tuesday, 3rd February, 2026
‎
‎Time: 10:00 a.m. prompt
‎
‎Venue: University Main Auditorium, FUET Campus
‎
‎All matriculating students are expected to:
‎Be seated at the venue at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the ceremony.
‎
‎Be properly dressed in their matriculation gowns as directed by the University authorities.
‎
‎Comply strictly with all guidelines and instructions issued by the University.
‎
‎Parents, guardians, and invited guests are cordially invited to witness this historic occasion marking the formal admission of the pioneer students into the University.

The Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET), Ogoni, Rivers State, hereby invites the General Public to its Maiden Founders’ Day and Matriculation Ceremony, featuring a Luncheon and the Launch of a ₦500 Million Research and Development Environment Fund.

The event will hold under the Distinguished Chairmanship of Chief Lesi Maol,
Chief Executive Officer, GIOLEE Global Resources Limited.

All students are advised to ensure they have collected their school file. Students who have not yet collected their file should kindly visit the FUET campus to do so, as it is required for further documentation.
