_Call for Applications, Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants 2025_

Opportunity Summary
The British Council invites joint applications for the Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants, supporting projects that design and deliver green entrepreneurship and climate related skills training for young people aged 18 to 30. The program aims to strengthen international collaboration and capacity building between UK and global partners, preparing youth for a sustainable and inclusive future.

Funding Details
Each selected partnership will receive up to £85,000, shared between UK and partner institutions, to implement projects lasting approximately nine and a half months. The funding supports curriculum design, training delivery, innovation exchanges, and scalable models of climate education.

Eligibility
Eligible applicants include UK higher education or TVET institutions working in partnership with organizations in eligible countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Partnerships must demonstrate institutional commitment, gender inclusion, and measurable youth impact in green and climate resilience sectors.

_Call for Applications, UNICEF Climate Innovation Challenge 2025_

Opportunity Summary
The UNICEF Venture Fund invites early and growth-stage frontier tech start-ups from emerging economies to apply for the Climate Innovation Challenge 2025. The program supports technology-driven solutions that safeguard children’s health and enhance community resilience to climate change impacts through adaptation and disaster risk management innovations.

Funding Details
Selected start-ups will receive up to US$100 000 in equity-free funding, plus tailored mentorship, product development support, and access to UNICEF’s global innovation ecosystem.

Eligibility
Applications are open to registered tech start-ups based in UNICEF Programme Countries, particularly across Sub-Saharan Africa, Southern Asia, South-eastern Asia, and Latin America & the Caribbean. Eligible innovations must focus on climate and health, resilience, adaptation, or disaster risk management and use open-source technology with measurable impact potential.

5. To promote economic empowerment and work towards poverty eradication.

8. To provide humanitarian assistance while promoting cultural diversity and inclusion.
