When someone says temperature of audience or audience temperature, what should come to your mind is

• Cold Audience
• Warm Audience
• Hot Audience

Now, what’s the difference between each audience? I’ll use supper words to explain.

• Cold Audience: People who don’t know you or care about what you do. I.e you are a complete stranger to them.

• Warm Audience: People who have an idea of who you are and what you do but are still on the fence about buying from you

• Hot Audience: People know and trust you enough to buy from you any day and any time, so long as your product answers their needs and they have the money to buy.

Now, put yourself in the shoes of a guy imagine each audience type to be a lady this guy mets at the bar.

If his first words are “Hello beautiful, would you like a drink after which I’ll drive you home so you are safe…”

The “Hot” lady will agree to it immediately if she doesn’t have a date or a man.

The “Warm” lady will most times either laugh it off as a joke or carefully look at him before deciding.

What do you think the “Cold” lady would do?

What if he says “Hey, I saw you from way over there and thought it would be a waste to not get your name at least before I leave.”

What would be the reactions of each lady?

If you truly get to the very core of every buying decision, you will realize that you are left with

• Escaping pain
• ⁠Experiencing pleasure

That’s all your customers want to hear!

Will you product help them escape their current pain or will it help them experience pleasure?

If your product does one of these two things, the question now is…

How do you make them believe your product can do this? The key is to…

FOCUS ON THE INTERNAL TRANSFORMATION.

Help them see themselves escaping their pain or experiencing pleasure with your product. If you can do both? Even better!

Make your product appear like the key to their idea future.
