*ROLE:* Church Administrative Officer
*LOCATION:* Lagos
*JOB PURPOSE*
• The Church Administrator will coordinate, monitor, and participate in the management of the facilities and operations of the church.
• The incumbent selected will provide full administrative support to the Pastor in Charge
• Work will be performed under the general supervision of the minister in charge of workers.
*JOB DESCRIPTION*
• Managing all church services, making sure all facilities and other requirements for each service are always readily available to use.
• Keeps the pastor’s appointment calendar
• Ensures that the Church's main building, Church office and the teenagers/children are well-maintained by contacting repairmen and overseeing their work.
• Manages energy use in the church and works to make it as efficient as possible.
• Responsible for making sure the prepaid meters are not out of token.
• Monitor the maintenance of the generator, by making sure they serviced as of when due, and making sure diesel is always available for every use.
• Maintaining the air conditioners in the church. Make sure they are serviced as of when due. Carry out maintenance checks to be sure that all are working optimally. Escalate repair needs and follow up to ensure all repairs are done.
• Act as the liaison office between the Zone and the Province on all administrative tasks; submitting monthly remittances, attending to all communication from prom province e.g., picking and submission letters, handbills and any other province requirements that may involve the Zone.
• Prepare monthly reports on attendance and church development for Pastor’s use
• Assists in scheduling meetings and events, evaluates church's insurance needs and ensures that policies remain current, and the church is compliant
• Keep church members database: Names, contact addresses and telephone numbers
- Records of attendance from ushers
- Invitations, formal letters
- Birthdays of members and reminders to leadership.
• Monitor Programs and calendars for the year
• Assist in monitoring the development of every department (monthly reports)
• Work with the minister in charge of punctuality among members by helping to coordinate workers' punctuality register, workers' absence and records.
*Qualification*
• ND, HND, BSC in any field
• A minimum of one year of experience
• Candidate must be born again
*Required Skills*
• Possess experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong and consistent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities and tasks
• Attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
