15 life lessons I'll share With My Younger Self
1. Just start: I've always believed that clarity starts with doing.
3. Guard your mind:
Sieve the information you receive. In this age of information, we get overload of information and it can burn you out of you decide to follow each and everyone. Be selective of what enters your mind.
5. Take some time off and relax: burnout is real. Spend time with family and friends or do whatever that helps you reset.
6. Take calculated risks: It's not just about taking risks, be sure to take calculated ones.
7. Learn from other people's experience: Sometimes, your experience is not the best teacher. What's the point of going through stress when you can simply learn from other people mistake.
9. Get yourself a mentor: They're important if you want a shortcut to wherever you're going. Of course, you can decide not to. But if you do, you'll get to your destination faster
11. Give yourself a treat. Save up. Visit a nice restaurant or anywhere you like and have fun. Take an Uber, go to the most expensive hotel around you. Order a plate of food, relax and enjoy.
12. Calculate your net worth in dollars: each time you feel proud or feel like you've arrived. Please do yourself a favor and calculate your net worth in dollars. A long way to go right?
13. Be happy. Happiness truly doesn't cost a thing. Find something to be joyful about in every situation.
14. Be willing to see things in other peoples perspective.
15. Read a new book.
