I had to use this content before the catchphrase expires (jokes on me, it will never expire as long as we keep being the generation that speaks up)

Talking about speaking up, did you know using Facebook products like Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Facebook Ads manager, Facebook, WhatsApp and so much more can help your business SoroSoke (scale, speak up)?

Talmabout a family of products all synched to help your business Speak up in marketing, sales, brand development, retail and lots more.

At least, I know a couple of us have enjoyed the target marketing feature of Facebook Ads where you can increase sales and return on investment. I ran a campaign for 3IR prints on their product packaging offers (you can check them out on instagram), the goal was to drive sales and position the brand as a product packaging expert for SMEs. Combining the right strategy with 2 weeks worth of Facebook ads, 3IR was able to reach its revenue goal with perks like new customers and leads.

Kindly share your own Facebook product experience with us in the comment section and if you find an experience that you can learn from in the box, don't hesitate to reach out to the learn more.

Don't Just Do it....

I am an ardent follower of Nike's mantra - Just do it!

But more often than not, things like business, operations, management, branding, sales and marketing requires much more than Just do it!

If we are to be realistic, there are steps to take before launching your business into the deep blue sea

1. Think - This phase avails you the opportunity to ask questions. Ask yourself, Ask industry experts, Ask colleagues and close associates everything and anything around what you want to do. While doing this, keep an open mind and document everything you find out.

Your findings should be as simple as
1. Identifying your products and services
2. Profitability of the business
3. Your target audience
4. What are your strengths and weaknesses with respect to the business
5. What opportunities are available and what are the general threats?

These questions and more either immediately answered or unanswered will give you an inkling as to what you are about to do

2. Plan - It cannot be overemphasized. Catch this stats
According to CoSchedule research

“Marketers who set goals are 376% more likely to report success than those who don’t. And 70% of those successful, goal-setting marketers achieve them.”

Isn't that insane?
Thats what this stage of "Just do it" is all about.
Plan and set goals. Applying this statistics to other workstreams in your business - operations, branding, sales, customer relations etc, you are more likely to achieve success faster than the next Nike kicks will get sold out.

The singular most important thing for a business at this stage is a Business Plan. Get your business plan

3. Start - After all is said and done, then you can Just do it. However, make it a present continuous movement.
Start executing
Start reviewing actions
Start documenting
Start getting reviews
Start humanizing your brand
Start breaking down big goals to daily goals
Start using digital tools to scale operations
Start taking actions everyday

In my next post, i will use a case scenario to help us understand better.

Till then,
Think Digital, Grow Easily

Having worked with SMEs through my branding, marketing consultation and business development role at 3IR and CIUCI, I developed an unexplainable affection for SMEs. Largely because I believe in the growth potential of SMEs to provide everyday solutions that make lives better and ultimately grow into multinationals.

The need to provide digital knowledge and skills to enhance SME performance cannot be overemphasized. If not the realization COVID-19 brought, then the ability of digital marketing and other digital tools to scale operations, marketing, branding and sales has awakened us to the importance of digital skills.

The future is digital and SMEs can capitalize on digital tools to help improve their business standings
