A client told me my design wasn't good enough.

And honestly?

For a moment, I believed her.

I went back to look at the work again.
Questioned myself.
Started overthinking everything.

But the more we spoke, the more I realized something:

She didn't actually know what she wanted.

Different references.
Different ideas.
Different direction every single time.

And after a while, that confusion started affecting the whole creative process.

The design was never really the problem.

There was no clarity behind it.

And honestly?

I think a lot of people are experiencing that same thing in life too.

Not knowing what direction they truly want.
Feeling mentally stuck while trying to figure everything out at once.

And when clarity is missing…

everything starts feeling heavy.

That feeling inspired my guide:

"I Don't Know What to Do Next." 🤍

For anyone feeling stuck, heavy, and unsure where to begin.

I stopped showing up.

Not because I was lazy.
But because everything felt too heavy to carry.

I was stuck.

Not the surface kind.
The deep kind.

Where nothing feels clear and even small decisions feel hard.

I had information. Advice. Ideas.

But still felt lost.

Because clarity doesn't come from more noise.

It comes from stillness.

From learning to hear God again.

So I wrote everything down from that season.

📖 I Don't Know What to Do Next

Chapter 1: My Story — When I Didn't Know What to Do Next
Chapter 2: Why You Feel Confused
Chapter 3: What You Actually Need
Chapter 4: How to Slow Down Your Mind
Chapter 5: How to Find Direction Again
Chapter 6: A Simple Daily Reset

You are not broken.
You are not behind.
You are simply becoming.

The past few days reminded me how quickly life can shift.

Last Friday, I had an accident in Lagos.

And honestly?

For a moment, I couldn't breathe.

That experience stayed with me.

Because it made me realize how fragile life really is.

How quickly everything can change.

How much we take ordinary days for granted.

The routines.
The people around us.
The ability to wake up, breathe, work, create, and keep building.

But through it all, one thing keeps sitting in my heart:

I'm still here because God got me.

Right now, I'm back home with my parents adjusting to a completely different rhythm from the routine I spent months building.

And it's been harder than I expected.

But I'm grateful to be here with family.

More than anything, this season has made me grateful.

Grateful for life.
Grateful for time.
Grateful for the people around me.
Grateful to still be here.

I'm still working on the ebook slowly.
Still building.
Still showing up when I can.

But I'm learning that not every season is about pushing harder.

Some seasons are about pausing.
Breathing.
Adjusting.
And appreciating what truly matters.

And honestly?

That perspective changes you.

Ever visited a business page and instantly felt confused?

Not because the product was bad.

But because every post felt like a different brand.

One post looked luxurious.
Another looked playful.
Another looked completely random.

And somehow…

it quietly made the brand feel less trustworthy.

I think that’s why consistency matters more than people realize.

Because people remember what feels familiar.

Your brand looks different every time you post…

And honestly?
That’s the problem.

Different colors.
Different fonts.
Different layouts.
Different energy every single time.

Even with Canva & AI making design easier…

A scattered brand will still look scattered without clarity.

Because the problem usually isn’t the tools.

It’s the lack of a visual system.

This carousel explains why most brands still struggle with consistency even with AI.

Confusion isn’t about not knowing what to do.

It’s about too many voices drowning out your own.

Too many opinions.
Too many options.
Too much noise.

And somewhere in all that…

you stop trusting yourself.
you stop hearing God.

The past few days reminded me how quickly life can shift.

And honestly, moments like that make you realize how faithful God is…

and how much noise we carry every day.

The overthinking.
The pressure.
The fear.

None of it feels as heavy when you’re simply grateful to still be here.

But here’s the truth:

That voice inside you hasn’t gone anywhere.
God hasn’t gone silent.

You just need to get quiet enough to hear again.

Because clarity doesn’t come from doing more.

It comes from hearing clearly again.

I’m writing something about this…

For anyone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start.

It’s coming soon 🤍

I came across some of my old designs today.

Jotter concepts. Book covers. Flyers etc

And honestly?
They still hold up 👀

It’s funny how we look at old work and immediately start critiquing it:

“I’d do this differently now.”
“Why that font?”
“That colour choice though 😭”

But growth doesn’t make your old work bad.

Sometimes it actually proves how solid it was.

Good work is more than aesthetics.
It’s purpose. Clarity. Communication.

And looking back?
I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

I redesigned my brand over and over again…
and it still didn’t feel right.

Different colours.
Different fonts.
Different styles.

Nothing clicked.

Because I was treating my brand like an experiment
instead of building a system.

So I simplified.
Red, black and white.
Two font systems.
A few reusable templates.

And I stayed consistent.

Same me. Same work.
Different system.

That’s when it clicked:
Most brands don’t have a creativity problem.
They have a clarity problem.

Message me "BRAND"
Let’s build your brand visual system together.

I tried talking to the camera and almost didn’t post this 😅

I was shy, I laughed a lot…
but I actually enjoyed it.

Not perfect, just real.

Service businesses have one design challenge:

Look premium… without looking unaffordable.

This was an older design I created for a photography brand but the thinking still holds.

The choice of purple wasn’t random.

Not black (often used for bold, high-end positioning)
Not blue (too corporate)

Purple sits in between; creative, premium, and approachable.

Now look at the structure 👇

Clean layout: no clutter, no confusion
Clear services: people instantly know what’s offered
Real visuals: proof always beats claims

Because when you’re selling a service.
Design isn’t just about aesthetics.
It’s about trust.

If people don’t trust what they see, they won’t book no matter how good your work is.

That’s the real job of branding.
