At Revamp Workshop, Rev. Olanari Ogregade spoke directly to something many young people are quietly struggling with today, chasing self worth through likes, validation, and applause instead of building it from within.

Her charge was simple. You didn't create yourself, so let that shape how much value you place on your own life. Build a strong sense of self worth first. Everything else, including how people treat you and how you carry yourself, follows from there.

Some of the best moments from Revamp Workshop weren't captured in a session or a speech. They were in the room itself. The laughter between activities. The quiet nods of encouragement between teammates. The genuine, wide smiles that showed up when someone finally got it, or finally believed in themselves.

Under pressure, real skill shows up.

One of the most talked about moments at Revamp Workshop was the Simulation Challenge. Teams were dropped into real world scenarios, forced to think fast, negotiate, and problem solve on the spot. Just instinct, teamwork, and whatever they'd learned up to that point.

What we saw in that room stayed with us. Quiet participants stepping into leadership. Teams that started shaky finding their rhythm. Ideas being pitched, challenged, and rebuilt in real time.

We also saw strength, young girls stepping into confidence, owning their roles, and delivering exactly what they set out to do. Greatness on full display.

This is what Revamp is really about. Not just teaching concepts, but giving young people a space to actually practice them.

Community Spotlight: Our Volunteers 💜

Revamp Workshop didn't run itself, behind every session, every smooth transition, every "everything is under control" moment, was a team of volunteers who showed up ready to serve.

They registered attendees, guided people to their seats, kept the simulation challenge running on time, and handled the countless small tasks that never make it into the highlight reel but hold the whole day together.

To every single volunteer who gave their time and energy to Revamp 2026, thank you. TFEI's mission moves forward because people like you choose to show up for it.
