Today we are mastering a very flexible and essential Dutch verb: aanpassen, which means to adjust or to adapt.
Whether you are updating your settings or getting used to a new culture, this is the verb you need!
There are two main ways to use this verb:
Iets aanpassen (aan): Use this when you are adjusting something else, like a schedule, computer settings, or a plan. ⚙️
Zich aanpassen (aan): Use this when you are adapting yourself to a new situation, such as new working hours or life in a new country. 🧘♂️
