A month ago I participated in the Prinsjesdag Entrepreneurs Challenge organized by the VNW - Vertegenwoordiging van Nederland in Willemstad. Running parallel to ours, Curaçaon high school students were asked to come up with an innovation solution to a current societal challenge on the island. This past Friday I joined the Representative Erwin Arkenbout, Kurt Schoop and Danita de Haseth in a panel moderated by Rense Pin to judge the 6 finalists' video pitches. The top 3 groups each win a cash prize which will then go towards the students’ selected local non-profit to realize the idea the students pitched. Coming week you are invited to view and vote for your favorite idea, so be sure to express your virtual support on the VNW's page.

You can cast your vote on their page, voting will open tomorrow Monday October 19th at 9 AM and end at noon on Friday October. Winners will be announced on Friday at 2 PM. Good luck to all participating students!
