โ€œDonโ€™t get me wrong, the idea is great. But a few things really suck!โ€ ~ anonymous renter at One Space.

One Space is one of the greatest projects Iโ€™ve ever worked on for Achmea Real Estate. Not just because of the size or the creative freedom I was given, but because of what I learned from it.

The most important lesson? User and customer feedback.

As and , we often think our job is done once the building is complete. But the truth is, the real test comes when the users start living in it. They might encounter issues that werenโ€™t considered during the design phase.

This was the case with One Space. Itโ€™s a great concept, but there were a few things we didnโ€™t foresee. Moving forward, Iโ€™ll definitely follow up with users a few months after they move in. Why? Because itโ€™s not just about creating a good conceptโ€”itโ€™s about ensuring itโ€™s functional too.

People often ask where I find my design inspiration. It comes from many places: songs, books, nature, and influential people like Frank Gehry.

Frank Gehry, known for his groundbreaking designs like the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Walt Disney Concert Hall, reshaped modern architecture. His fearless approach and innovative use of materials inspire my work daily. Gehry shows us that creativity and pushing boundaries are essential for impactful design.
