Sometimes when you’re running a small business you can’t afford professional design services. That is completely reasonable. I actually don’t even recommend professional branding until you’ve tested your offer. You need to make sure the thing you’re selling actually works, and that you feel confident selling it.

That being said, you still deserve to have a brand that makes you and your potential clients feel confident in your abilities. So if you’re in the DIY phase, here’s my best quick tips!

There’s a lot more to brand strategy than just the visuals though. None of these tips address the WHY. The foundation needed to really build professional, strategic brand strategy. Anyone else who was bullied for being weird and have been chasing the freedom of spending hours designing the perfect house in the Sims as a kid for literally decades and now you’re finally starting to embrace your true emo self and letting that authentic version of you come out in everything you do including your business?
