I am Julie, I am french and I live in between Amsterdam and Helsinki.

After working in Affiliate Marketing at Booking.com for 6 years, I conquered my fears and started a journey as a freelancer in digital marketing.

✨ What is a freebie ? ✨

And how it can help you find new clients.

A freebie is a piece of content that showcase your expertise that you will be distributing to potential clients for free, the most often in exchange for their email address and name.

This is a way for you to grow your mailing list and to be able to connect with your leads in a more direct and authentic way.

A freebie can be an E-book, a webinar, a quiz, a checklist, a free call.... and more.

In order for your freebie to be successful, you need to study your audience and have clearly defined persona to create something that will be useful to them.

🚀 Is mentoring for you ? 🚀

If you are a business owner struggling with growing your business you probably have considered getting external help.

But here again you have many option, e-learning, consulting, freelancer, coaching.... How do you know which option is for you ?

Well, let me tell you a bit more about ✨mentoring✨.

I like mentoring because it is about a transmission of experience and best practices.
Which means you will have to do the work but you will learn a lot during the process.
It will empower you and help you become more autonomous.

However mentoring is not for you if :

❌ You don't have time to do your "homework"
❌ You do not wish to learn more about marketing (in this case)
❌ You want someone to create and implement a strategy for you

There is no good or bad way of learning, you just need to find the one that fits your personality.

✨ What are your values? ✨

As a company or as an individual you have core values that you might be aware of or not and that basically drive what you do in life.

It is also what makes you different from the other businesses. People will work for you because of WHO YOU ARE.

The first time I was asked what my values were I had NO idea.

I had to do an exercise that I invite you to do as well which is to make a list of what you think are your values (at least 10-20) and then pick your top 5.

Then prioritise them from 1 being your most important until 5 being the lesser important to you.

For each of them, write down a sentence of what it represents to you or your business and how you live it everyday.

ex: Creativity : Creativity for me is really linked to playing with colours. I try to do something creative everyday from applying make up to drawing or painting.

📩 How to acquire leads ? 🚀

THE question every business ask.

If you remember in the Marketing Pirate Funnel, Acquisition is the step that comes after Awareness.
Meaning once your audience has heard of your brand or visited your website, how do you get this person to trust you enough to give you their email address or other personal data?

Well, my favorite strategy is using this winning trio :
📙 A freebie with content that matches the needs of your target audience
📣 A Social media ad campaign to reach people outside of your usual audience
🛬 A landing page with a short form in order to let your leads enter their data and receive the freebie you prepared

Delivering useful content for free is a way of creating a first (hopefully) positive interaction with your audience to start establishing a strong and authentic relationship.
This relationship can be strengthen further thanks to your emailing or content strategy for instance.

Showing off my work 🚀

This is a mini website I have created using the website function together with for .

The brief was to create a website/catalogue to showcase all the e-learning courses available while keeping the identity of the brand.

I have not written the content in that case only worked on the structure.

We were really excited to go live because it was a project that had been in our pipeline for a while but that somehow was not advancing at all. 🤔

We never give up at ! 💪We regrouped our forces, changed our focus to this project and got it out in less than 2 weeks. 🎉

Welcome Helsinki ! 🇫🇮

My partner, our cat and I just moved in the center of Helsinki which is also our first time in Finland. 😱

One year ago, I am not sure I could have been able to follow this project through but working as an entrepreneur allowed me to win my freedom.

Trust me, the first time I heard that we might be moving I did not know what to think of it. I love Amsterdam and we just moved to a new apartment that I did not want to leave....

But the adventurer in me woke up and reminded me that experiences are invaluable and that it had always been my dream to be a "digital nomad".

This had been on my vision board for years and it was nice to be reminded of this goal.
