Dormac provides reputable Ship Repair Services to the marine industry across the board from Container/Cargo vessels to Passenger liners, Offshore Construction vessels, Survey vessels, PSV’s, OSV’s, AHT, Rigs, FPSO’s and Navy vessels. We are capable of afloat and dry docking repairs in any of our facilities around the Southern African coast line. Our travel repair parties are capable of being deployed to any location in the world to undertake voyage repair works. Our entire spectrum of repairs, which include cofferdam and diving projects, are offered on a 24 hour a day, 365 days a year basis.

Our employees joined together to contribute R25 each to Iris House, which was matched by Dormac. Together, a total of R1,600 was donated to the children’s hospice, which provides care for special needs children and their families.

Apart from being leaders in ship repair, Dormac has a machine shop capable of creating and refurbishing parts for uses well beyond shipping. For example, we’re the preferred company specialising in manufacturing and reconditioning shredder rotors for the sugar industry, a lengthy process involving machining, hardface welding, heat treatment, fitting, balancing, and inspection.
