I've officially taken Sauce Digital full time!

It's been a long time coming but I'm proud to have gotten it to the point where I can now use 100% of my time and energy on my clients.

I'm nothing without my clients, so a huge thanks to everyone who has trusted me with the opportunity to grow their business over the past 9 months, some are shown in the image above.

Just visit facebook.com/ads/library/ and type in their page!

This tool lets you see all of the ads they are running across Facebook and Instagram.

This is really useful to see:

🔍 What kind of messaging they are using to communicate with your customers
🔍 What types of ads they are using - images, videos, carousels
🔍 They kinds of creative they are using - animation, imagery, text based ads

All of this information can give you a big head start if you're looking at running your own ads and you're not sure where to begin!

Did it work on you?

This concept is called visual hierarchy and it’s built into designs everywhere you look! 🕵

Visual hierarchy is the laying out of content in order to effectively communicate information.

It’s also a really great concept you can to create a compelling Facebook advertisement 💵

Check out the second slide to see what I mean!

Here are some tips on how to write Facebook ads like a pro that will make you more sales!

1. The text in your image - it’s main goal is to stop users scrolling! Write something short that will draw the user in and can be read in a very short amount of time.

This could be something like:

📍30% Off Everything!
📍Sick of Cleaning?

(You don't have to you use text in your image but in some cases it works well!)

2. Headline - This is a very important part of your ad, and will decide whether or not the user continues to engage with your ad or keep scrolling.

The best practice is to make sure your headline is benefit orientated.

Don’t say what’s great about your product or service - tell the user why it’s going to make their life better!

3. Description - this sits just under your headline and is a good place to put supporting statements to your headline or to create urgency.

I.e. Sale ends this sunday!

4. Primary Text - Your primary text is where you get a bit more room to explain your offer. A good idea is to use some proof or statistics to back up your headline and to drive home your point.

Always to try to end with a call to action that tells the reader exactly what you want them to do next:

Guilty 🙋

In a survey of Instagram users, 1/3rd have been said they have bought directly from an ad.

Another finding from the study was that 81% of women and 75% of men said they had purchased from an unfamiliar brand.

This shows the power of Instagram for advertising to new audiences and reaching people beyond just your followers.

Because it’s such a visual platform, it is important to remember to use really high quality imagery and videos to stop people scrolling!

Kind of like how bees 🐝 are attracted to bright, beautiful flowers 🌸 it’s a good idea to use your most show-stopping imagery for ads to grab peoples attention.

One tip for choosing your ad assets is to go through your posts and see which received the most engagement (likes, comments, shares and saves).

That way you can choose images that you know people like!
